Job description

We are looking for a working student for Technical Data for AMM (Aircraft Maintenance Manual) & IPC (Illustrated Parts Catalogue) - (d/f/m) within Airbus (Commercial Aircraft) located in Hamburg.

You will be part of the international team within the Aircraft Systems department with a possible start date of July 2025.

In this position, you are part of the operational unit “Technical Data in Customer Services”. Your main mission is to deliver the complete documentation at aircraft entry into service and to maintain it all along the aircraft life cycle.

You are in charge of developing and delivering aircraft maintenance and material documentation to enable the safety and efficiency of maintenance operations by the customer.

You are responsible for delivering content e.g. for the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) and Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC). 

Your location

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Finkenwerder

Are you wondering how you actually get from university to Airbus? Your working student position is at the Finkenwerder plant and you can take the ferry from Teufelsbrück to the Airbus ferry terminal and back to the university in the morning and at noon. Alternatively, you can take the ferry to Finkenwerder and then ride your bike for about another 15 minutes to the main entrance.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

As a working student, you will play a key role in overseeing and coordinating technical data creation tasks. Your primary focus will be on the rationalization and improvement of the accuracy and validation of manual content. You will also be an active contributor to data analysis, consolidation and improvement efforts. You will use your strong communication skills to facilitate the effective coordination of activities and to collaborate in the development of innovative solutions.

Required Qualifications:

· 
Enrolled full-time student (d/m/w) in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, production engineering, or a related field

· 
Prior practical experience in the industrial or production sector is advantageous

· 
Proficiency in MS Office and Google tools

· 
Additional IT experience with planning tools is welcome

· 
Fluent in both German and English
