Job Description:

A mission for a Manufacturing Engineering (ME) Business Methods Engineer has arisen. 

During this temporary increase of activities, you will contribute to the strategic evolution of the ME Process Engineer.

You will join the Central Manufacturing Engineering Work Preparation Function of Airbus in OMMD department, responsible for the Work Preparation processes, methods, tools and competences. 

This function is part of the Airbus Production System Efficiency organization which is responsible for deploying, maintaining and supporting reliable, efficient and integrated production solutions to Operations, in order to enable industrial excellence and contribute to the Company’s profitability and competitiveness.

The OMMD Scope covers all Airbus plants and Final Assembly Lines, for all Aircraft Programs.

Main deliverables:

For the ME Process Engineer job, you  will have to:

- Appropriate the current situation,

- Collect the need of evolution,

- Assess and influence the need collected,

- Refine the situation,

- Validate and officialise the solutions,

The activities of the jobholder will take into account the daily work activities, the associated workload and the corresponding skills and competencies, for the make as for the buy perimeter of ME Process Engineer, and for the global scope of OMMD.

In parallel, all the impacts on the other ME Jobs have to be taken into account in the frame of the study.

Task & accountabilities:

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

- Work on the main deliverables with the Job owner (OMMD organisation) for the Make perimeter,

- Work on the main deliverables with the Cluster Leader (OMMD organisation) for the Buy perimeter,

- Participate actively to the ME Process Engineer community,

- Communicate to the ME Process Engineer Operational Management,

- Regular reporting to the Airbus Production System Efficiency organization
