SECURITY CLEARANCE: Involves working within the UK Defence industry, requiring the applicants to be UK Nationals Only (No Dual Nationals) and able to be security cleared to a UK Eyes Only SC level
TRAVEL REQUIRED: Occasional travel within UK / and international
LOCATION: Hybrid (2-3 days on site) - Newport, South Wales
TYPE: Full time / Part time / STEM returner

We have an exciting opportunity for a capable individual to work within Europe's biggest Splunk environment. You will be an influential member of a multidisciplinary team that uses classical and agile project methodologies to work on this sizable international platform. Reporting directly to the Team Lead, you will support our Lead Architects/Experts to further evolve our system landscape on Splunk and act as point of contact for our customers for Splunk related topics. You will further board data sources in the UK perimeter and coordinate suppliers. This is a great position for someone who values agency, progression and longevity.

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM
· Operate and further develop expanding infrastructure together with our Lead Architects / Experts
· Boarding of new log sources
· Coordination of suppliers
· Ensure proper service levels of platforms
· Point of contact for customer / stakeholder requests
ABOUT YOU
· Experience with Splunk technology at Enterprise Level
· Experience with system and network architectures in security context
· Strong Linux/Unix skills and scripting knowledge
