A.  IDENTIFICATION:

 

Job title: Specialist Maintenance Technician - Automation & Robotic Improvement Projects

B. LIABILITIES:

Specialist Maintenance Techinicians will be accountable of the global maintenance of NC, PLC and, in general Industrial Automation Control Systems. They must to assure the compliance with industrial assets performance targets throug the following actions:

The definition of these activities is accoding European standard EN 15628:2014-10 about Maintenance-Qualification of maintenance staffs and the Industrial Assets Management Airbus strategy.

B.1 Customer Focus:

· 
They must ensure the Industrial Means Technican Availability through following and resolution of incidents in function of their category:

· 
Responsible of update and modify the industrial means after incidents/breakdowns of level 3 and 4, ensuring the availability and start up of the assets under every safety and realiability standard parameters.

· 
Will carry out the following of industrial assets updates and modifications after indicident of level 1, 2 and 5, ensuring the availability and start up of the assets under every safety and realiability standard parameters.

· 
Furthermore, in case of incidents of level 1, 2 and 5, will be responsible to contact with external suppliers (maintenance services or OEMs) managing any action plan to be performed. Also will support the remote or in sity incident solving or planned maintenance, coordinating these activities with manufacturing managers.

· 
They would take liability of the quality maintenance task performed and the documental traceability within the CMMS.

· 
Spare parts control and will assure it availabity across the CMMS.

· 
Will take liability to follow up, manage and scale the maintenance action and risk within of plant MFT like TPM/SQCDP/APTs.

Maintenance Levels:

· 
Level 1: Simple actions, lubrication and inspections that can be performed by the machine operator if necessary.
Level 2: Adjustments and replacements of simple components.
Level 3: Complex adjustments, replacements of components or subassemblies requiring:
o    Procedures (work processes, etc.).
o    Support equipment (standard or specific tools).
o    Qualified personnel for the task to be performed.
Level 4: Complex operations implying the knowledge of procedures, control of specific technologies, use of specialized support equipment and/or specific tools (highly qualified personnel).

Level 5: Refurbishment, retrofit (that level would be manage alike to new industrial assets adquisition)

B.2 Processes

· 
Will be resposible to assess the safety risk before of maintenance task perform.

· 
Will ensure that mitigation and solving measures has been taking against the safety risk detected.

· 
Will propose and develop Improvement Ideas or innovation for the processes in base of the knowledge and technical skills required in the point "C".

· 
Creating of procedures and protocols for the industrial means according legal requirements

· 
Will perform analysis Realizará análisis de las incidencias  más relevantes y los errores más comunes de los medios así como propondrá acciones preventivas.

· 
Checking and assuring the Preventive Maintenance adherence to plan.

· 
Will participate in adquisition processes for new industrial means according to internal regulation  FU. IN 03.03  y FU. IN 02.02. Checking and validating technical documentation and commissioning processes.

· 
Technical Specification development.

B.3 Economic:

· 
They will know the maintenance services and spare parts budgets, ensuring the adherence and identifying financial risks. 

B.4 People

· 
Will assure and foster Safe Culture within of working environment.

· 
Performing the knowledge adquired transfer to the rest of staff as "On the job Traineer".

· 
Being examplo of Airbus values managing and colaborating with outsourced serviced under their scope.

C. COMPETENCE & KNOWLEDGE

Specialist Maintenance Technician must have specific knowledge and competence about PLC, CNC y Robots (Siemens, Beckhoff, Omrom, Fanuc…) that allows them develop the next tasks:

· 
Machine electrics & automation basics

· 
Knowlwdge of machine techno & processes

· 
HMIs , SCADAs, machine connectivity 

· 
Industrial Cibersecurity

· 
Mech. Maintenance inc.soft/hardware.

· 
Realize manual movement in machinery and robots through PLC, CNC, HMI, SCADA and robots.

· 
Diagnose and Debug programming bugs in PLC, CNC, HMI, SCADA and robots.

· 
Software programming (Step 7, Sinumerik, Twincat, Fanuc…)

· 
Configure, realize and modify PLC, CNC, HMI, SCADA and robots

· 
Configure new hardware devices in field and OT networks

· 
Workflow, electrical, pneumatic and mechanics diagrams and software programs interpretation.

· 
Working tolerance checking in CN machines

· 
Calibration Quality Processes.

Further, the must to have the next knowledges:

· 
High knowledg in software programming languages (KOP, AWL, CNC, GRAFCET, C++, FANUC…)

· 
High knowledge about measuring system, drilling, and NC machines.

· 
High knowledge in Windows Operating Systems, Office tools, SAP PM and industrial protocols configuration.

· 
High knwoledge in realiability methods: RCM, RBD, FMEA.

· 
Newtral knowledge in conditiong monitoring and predictive algorithms.

· 
Basic knowledge in BBDD My SQL or SQL Server.

· 
Basic knowledge Artificial Vision.

· 
Basic knowledge in OT Cybersecurity solutions.
