This role sits within the Secure Communications group of Airbus Defence and Space. We provide resilient, reliable and secure communication to National Infrastructure and to the Military. The specific department is a growing multidisciplinary team of 20 engineers responsible for research, design, development and support of state-of-the-art Satellite terminals on ships and aircraft. To reflect this breadth, the group's remit is equally wide-ranging enabling the successful candidate to become proficient in many technical and non-technical areas that are the bedrock of a successful career.

Tasks & accountabilities

During this internship, the activities you may undertake will include;

Working within the team you will
Design and execute software from a set of requirements
Fault find and repair errors in coding
Assist in testing of software and hardware

Required skills

Please note our Internships are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following;

Studying a relevant degree with software
A software coding background preferably in C++
Strong analytical skilss
Excellent written and verabal skills
A methodical approach to problem solving
