You are a full time student, looking for a working student position and want to get to know the work of Cloud Software Engineers, Data Analysts and Domain Experts?  Then apply now! We look forward to you supporting us as a working student (d/f/m) for 30 months with approx. 14 hours a week! 

Location: Taufkirchen/Ottobunn
Start: Datum / as soon as possible
Duration: 3 months

In this position you will join an experienced team of Cloud Software Engineers, Data Analysts and Domain Experts in building novel approaches that tackle the challenge of increasing predictability of air traffic operations.

In this job you will have to:

- Familiarize with available aviation datasets to create modern, reliable AI-based Predictive Solutions

- Based on the stated or anticipated business needs, understand and perform their mapping into the problem space of statistics, machine learning and AI

- Run controlled experiments to find the best solution. Implement the solution based on state of the art algorithms using best practices from software engineering

- Create solutions and ad-hoc tools for monitoring of the accuracy of models against business needs

Skills and background required include:

- Strong AI background, ideally with projects involving latest AI/DL techniques

- Experience developing data pipelines to deliver stable analytics or AI solutions

- Bachelors degree in Mathematics, computer science or similar

- Ability to think autonomously and proactiveness
