Description of the job :
We are looking for PLC Programmers at Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Stade! .

The plant Stade is highly automated - today approx. 400 automated production machines, systems and robots are in serial use in assembly and elementary part production further automated machines are currently in implementation or will be implemented in the next years.
To support us with this exciting challenge you will join the Team Manufacturing Engineering Plant Stade - DSVK

Task & accountabilities :
As a PLC programmer you are responsible for:

-Defining NC programs according to the specifications of engineering and manufacturing.
- Support in jigs and tools specification, validation and optimization of NC programs.
- quick maintenance Support in case of Major breakdown of the PLC
- identify opportunities for improvement/enhancement of PLC controlled automated processes (to reduce lead/operation times)
- modify and upgrade in case of retrofit or obsolesce
- check supplier PLC related quality during set up, test, commissioning and serial ramp up of new Systems
- act as multipliers for further PLC specialists that will be qualified internally to set up an SPS team with approx. 4-5 colleagues.
- harmonizing PLC requirements transnationally with other Airbus plants

Required skills :
You will have the following skills and experience:

- University Degree in Engineering or equivalent
- Programming of different PLC (Siemens 840D, Kuka KRC2/4, Fanuc 30i etc.) with different languages (Step 7, Visual Basic etc)
- Analysing of existing PLC in different automated machines and robots
- Defining PLC requirements for new automated machines and Systems
- good communication skills as you will act as trainer and coordinator for other PLC specialists
