We are seeking an experienced Senior React Developer who excels in building robust, high-quality web applications using React and TypeScript , with a strong emphasis on writing unit tests . You will play a key role in developing scalable web applications while ensuring that the code is well-tested, maintainable, and reliable. This role also includes mentoring junior developers and driving best practices around code quality and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

· 
Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using React and TypeScript .

· 
Write unit tests for React components, hooks, and utilities using modern testing tools like Vitest/Jest , React Testing Library , and Mocha .

· 
Ensure test coverage for critical code paths and components, and maintain a high standard of code quality.

· 
Follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices to ensure that components are well-tested from the start.

· 
Collaborate with the QA team to ensure proper integration and end-to-end testing coverage.

· 
Mentor junior developers on how to write effective unit tests and follow testing best practices.

· 
Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and ensure tests are written for new features.

· 
Optimize application performance, scalability, and user experience, while maintaining rigorous testing practices.

· 
Collaborate with backend developers to integrate and test RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints.

· 
Troubleshoot and debug production issues with a focus on replicating and resolving issues using unit tests.

· 
Contribute to continuous improvement by staying updated with emerging testing techniques, React, and JavaScript frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

· 
Hands-on experience with React.js and TypeScript .

· 
Experience writing unit tests for React components, hooks, and business logic using testing tools like Vitest/Jest , React Testing Library , or Mocha .

· 
Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) , HTML5 , and CSS3 .

· 
Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Justand , Recoil , or Context API .

· 
Knowledge of frontend build tools and bundlers such as Webpack , Babel , or Vite .

· 
Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies.

· 
Strong experience with Git for version control and familiarity with Git workflows (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).

· 
Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills, especially when using tests to identify and resolve issues.

· 
Understanding of responsive web design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility (a11y) standards.

· 
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.

Preferred Qualifications:

· 
Experience with Next.js for server-side rendering (SSR).

· 
Familiarity with Node.js or server-side JavaScript.

· 
Experience with containerization tools like Docker .

· 
Knowledge of AWS , Azure , or Google Cloud platforms.

· 
Experience with design systems or UI frameworks like Material-UI , Ant Design , or Styled Components .

· 
Familiarity with modern Agile workflows and sprint-based development.
