Job Description:

The job holder, being focused on Aviation Safety and Quality management in a highly regulated process environment will have a background in quality, compliance or six sigma / lean. Airbus is looking for the right individual capable of completing the following responsibilities autonomously: 

· 
Investigate and analyze root cause of audit findings, quality escapes, non-conformances, Maintenance Occurrence Reports and safety reports

· 
Define, along with other stakeholders the means to return to a compliant state, implement corrective actions and follow up to measure the success

· 
Ensure that standards of health and safety as well as regulatory 

· 
Define competency and training programs for the Operations team to ensure that we have optimized our capability versus the business needs

· 
Implement process improvements and workplace standardization in line with 5S type standards.

· 
Realization of Internal Audit plan, including visits to Off-site locations and Vendors 

· 
Writing/amending Company manuals and management of document library.

· 
Support in carrying out internal investigations to maintenance errors (MEDA).

· 
Delivery of Quality and Safety related training.

Education, Qualifications or Training

Essential  -

· 
Working understanding of PCAR, EASA or CAA equivalent Part 145 and Part CAMO regulations.

· 
Professional License (PRC) or CAAP License (AMT/ AMS) holder

· 
Experience of working in a highly regulated industry (airline experience, MRO, or OEM.

· 
Understanding of use and management of a Safety Management System and a Quality management System.

· 
Internal Audit training and supporting qualifications.

· 
Ability to solve problems and seek root causes through data.

· 
Experience of leading (or participating in) root cause analysis investigations. 

· 
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· 
Ability to simplify the business and communicate easily. 

· 
Negotiation level in English 

Desirable  - 

· 
Degree level qualification in engineering, aerospace or operations management

· 
Experience of QMS in EASA Part 145 and Part M environments.

· 
Experience with QMS including ISO 9001 EN 9100, EN 9110, EN 9120.

· 
Experience with Environmental Management ISO 14001

· 
Experience with Occupational Health and Safety ISO 18001/ 45001

· 
Experienced in the use of MS Office and/or Google Workspace applications.

· 
Knowledge in ITAR and Export Compliance Regulations.
