The Characterization and modeling of protection devices for superconducting powertrain Internship is within Airbus UpNext’ CRYOPROP team.
This internship will ideally begin in February (date subject to flexibility), and will last for a period of 5 or 6 months.
Mission
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

Bibliographic study about different electric DC arc models of protection devices used in superconducting powertrain
·
Data acquisition, characterisation and analysis of experimental tests
·
Development of protection device models in Simulink and Matlab
·
Fitting and validation with experimental data
You will work very closely cross-functionally with Airbus Teams, as well as an external research laboratory.

Background in physics, electrical/electronic engineering
·
Plasma physic knowledge is desirable but not mandatory
·
Matlab/Simulink programing skills
·
Passion about technology, science
·
