It is an exciting time to join the Information Management (IM) Team. IM is the Information Technology (IT) business enabler and unique IM Business Partner for Airbus Defence and Space.
As a central function, IM is involved in all business processes and enables technical as well as management careers. IM covers a wide range of state-of-the-art technologies and positions ranging from IT infrastructure, application support to governance or strategic consultancy. The successful applicant will join TOIIN1 organisation, in charge of Network Architecture for all Airbus Defence and Space infrastructure international projects.

The successful candidate will be subject to UK National Security Clearance in order to undertake related work in accordance
with business needs.

Tasks & accountabilities

As a Network Architect International Projects, you will support and contribute to the implementation of proven network standards and innovative technologies within Network Services in Airbus Defence and Space international environment. You will contact expert teams of the core countries in France, Germany, Spain and UK, preparing for the future by looking for innovative solutions and market best practices.

As jobholder you will be responsible for anticipating Airbus Defence and Space connectivity needs and establishing strategic orientation and roadmap in the area to enable future enterprise developments.

You will work closely with the Business, Service Managers, project/program managers, and other IT teams to act as point of contact for end user community regarding several Network Architectures. As the jobholder, you will be charge of leading project architecture design and aligning infrastructure solutions with standards: validating, challenging and providing detailed designs (down to mock-up if required).

You will need to be a creative thinker able to propose innovative ways to look at problems, improve the overall architectures in use, direct the resolution of all architecture challenges, manage and maintain Network standards, and coordinate all providers involved while ensuring stable operations.

Required skills

·  Bachelor degree in IT/Computer science or related field.
·  Relevant quantitative and qualitative research and analytics experience.
·  Experienced in Network Infrastructure design and project management.
·  Deep knowledge in IT Security principles and policies.
·  Deep knowledge in Networks (Routing / Switching / Wireless / Proxy / DDI) and Security (Firewalling, NAC 802.1x, VPN).
·  Experience in Software Define Networking and Digital infrastructure capabilities.
·  Project Management certification will be a plus.
