Master Thesis (d/f/m) in the field of Cabin Accessibility
Doktorarbeit Hamburg, GERMANY
Job description
Job Description:
Airbus Operations is looking for a
Master Thesis Student (d/f/m) in the field of Cabin Accessibility, Promoting inclusive aviation: Demonstrating revenue growth and social impact of accessibility
You are looking for a master thesis and want to get to know the work of a job title? Then apply now! We look forward to you supporting us in the Cabin and Cargo Innovation department as a Master Thesis Student (d/f/m)!
The number of people with disabilities is continuously increasing. Currently ~16% of world's population is affected by different types of disabilities. Persons with disabilities are able to travel. But they are not able to travel on an equal level. Accessible cabin design is a socio-ethical responsibility, legal obligation as well as a market opportunity.
Unfortunately, simply advocating for accessibility isn't enough to persuade all actors around air travel to invest more. Instead it's crucial to present concrete data that demonstrates how these solutions can drive business growth over the upcoming years. Additionally, potential future regulations could significantly impact these projections. There is no standardized business model yet that comprehensively integrates all aspects of accessible solutions and considers different scenarios of potential regulations. This gap makes it difficult to consistently evaluate the potential financial impact and communicate market opportunities.
The value of accessible solutions should be determined by analyzing different scenarios and quantifying the potential impact to improve communication and effectively market them e.g. to airline decision-makers.
