Description of the job

A vacancy for a Machine-tool Maintenance Technician specialised in automatism has arisen within Airbus Toulouse.

The successful applicant will join the department which is in charge of the maintenance for the St Eloi production plant.
St Eloi plant is located down town of Toulouse and its mission is to manufacture engine pylons and nacelle components for all Airbus aircraft.
It is the leading European aeronautical centre for the transformation of hard metals including titanium.

For this position you will work shifts (2 x 9-hour shifts or possibly midnight – 7h shifts + To be on call).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Performing monitoring rounds
·  Producing investigation and troubleshooting reports
·  Performing repairs, emergency repairs and slight adjustments, and making sure that equipment operates correctly when returned to service
·  Supervising or steering performance of other emergency repairs and standard repairs and the preventive maintenance operations
