We are looking for motivated students to join our teams at Airbus Commercial Aircraft or Airbus Defence & Space in Toulouse area.

An internship vacancy titled: “Test of new digital collaboration means for team working in agile (M/F)” has arisen within Airbus in Toulouse.

The project teams in the E2E PLM community move more and more away from classical waterfall projects.

The trend is to work in agile teams (e.g. according to SAFe methodology). These agile teams should be ideally collocated. Due to Airbus constraints as a global company agile teams can also be distributed over several sites and countries.

These requires new ways of digital collaboration going beyond classical video conferencing systems.

Furthermore, Airbus has decided to deploy Google Suite as new collaboration software moving away from classical Microsoft products.

The internship will start from March 2019 (date subject to some flexibility) and its duration is 4 to 6 months.

Tasks & accountabilities

During the internship, you will assess the different technologies (Hardware and Software) with regards to their applicability to support agile teams.
A dedicated ideation/innovation room is available to test out new technologies and ways of working.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Required skills

Above all, you must be highly interested in digital transformation challenges.
In terms of education, you are currently enrolled in a master in Engineering or Computing management.

You have the following skills and experience:

·  Information Systems

·  Knowledge in G-Suite

·  Knowledge in Virtual Collaboration

·  Motivation to test new innovative solutions

·  Team Player

·  English : Advanced level

·  French : intermediate or advanced level
