We are recruiting for a growing team and have multiple positions available!

Location Brize Norton, Oxfordshire

This will be a shift based role which will require flexibility to work a mixture of early and late shifts.

Our contract with the MOD states we will provide a continuous service to cover on a 24 hours, 7 days a week and 365 days a year to the Royal Air Force, to maintain and ensure airworthiness of their fleet of aircraft at home and overseas.

Working closely with our logistic team, and reporting directly to the Logistic Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring quality gates are followed before any item is included on our P145 storage. Within this role you’ll be also be in close contact with our Safety & Compliance and MRO team

How you will contribute

·  Receipt and evaluation inspections of complex components and assemblies using pre-set inspection plans
·  Ensure compliance with all associated quality procedures, airworthiness control plans, and quality management system requirements
·  Using aerospace knowledge and expertise to inspect finished products, thereby ensuring conformance with MAA/FAA/EASA Part 145 specifications and established quality standards, including customer requirements
·  Maintain material batch and manufacturer traceability information
·  Issue Discrepancy Reports and assisting in the resolution of customer complaints and Supplier quality problems
·  Document and record non-conformance process issues concerning business operations
·  Represent the Quality Management Department during internal meetings, working committees and modification programs

About you

·  Proven knowledge of aircraft operations, materials and practices
·  Experience under MAA Part 145 or EASA Part 145. Part21 experience could be also taken into account
·  Knowledge of AS9100 and First Article Inspection
·  Logistic or Inventory management experience
·  Customer facing experience within a military or civilian aviation environment
·  Working knowledge of a QMS system for logistics operations and regulatory requirements for control of inventory
