GIS Specialist - (Please provide proof of qualification)

Job Description:

A Geographic Information System (GIS) Specialist   who will capture, analyze, and visualize spatial data to support decision-making, using software like  ArcGIS Pro or QGIS. Building databases, creating maps, and modeling geographical relationships. Must have strong analytical skills and proficiency in managing spatial datasets.  Please provide copies of qualification in application.

Key Responsibilities

·  Visualization:  Creating high-quality maps, charts, and 3D models for reports and presentations.
·  System Maintenance:  Operating GIS hardware and software, including troubleshooting. 
·  Data Management:  Building, maintaining, and updating geospatial databases, ensuring data integrity.
·  Analysis & Modeling:  Analyzing spatial data to identify patterns, such as environmental changes or infrastructure needs

Required Skills and Qualifications
·  Technical Skills:  Proficiency in GIS software (ArcGIS Pro, QGIS), spatial analysis, and database management.
·  Education:  A Bachelor's degree in Geography, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or a related field is typically required.
·  Core Competencies:  Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
