Accountabilities
Within SA China Fuselage Equipping Quality team, the jobholder should guarantee the conformity of the aircraft/product to the requirements.
Main activities
· Client related activities
· Act as Quality focal point for all inspections related topics,
· Act as Aircraft Quality focal point for all Operations and Support function requests.
· Operational activities
· Perform Quality Inspections as per defined standards, Final Check and Attestation, Stop Points, Out of sequence work, including critical activities (when not delegated)
· Open/Close Non conformities where appropriate, including concessions
· Ensure Operational Surveillance (people, product and process).
· Lead and drive Quality issue resolution and continuous improvement projects
· Contribute to investigations and root cause analysis into reported quality/technical issues from the business team and customer,
· Provide expertise, feedback and coaching to Operations & Support Functions on Quality issues and observations from Operational Surveillance.
· Track and follow repetitive Non conformities, and participate to PPS meetings
· Participate actively in process improvements
· Prepare and support Customer visits
· Prevent Foreign object damage (FOD)
· Participate to relevant meetings (SQCDP…).
· Developmental activities
Be part of Knowledge transfer initiative as a Receiver, and as a Giver for future newcomers.

· Guarantee the conformity of a product to the requirements,
· Conduct surveillances (process, product, people),
· Be the go-to person on the shop floor for Quality issues,
· Secure important milestones.
Input
· Education: Aeronautics education,
· Experience: 3-5 years’ experience in Aviation industry,
· Basic Skills:
· Fluent in English,
· French and/or German knowledge would be a plus,
· Experience in multi-functional teams,
· Soft Skills:
· Ability to work in an international team, with people from various cultural backgrounds, and across organizational borders,
· Reliability: proactive thinking & acting,
· Ability to deep dive on issues and be an autonomous problem solver,
· Customer minded with good communication & well-developed negotiation skills,
· Ability to deal with conflicts,
· Technical Skills:
· Aircraft knowledge such as AMM, SRM...
· Aircraft Electricity, Mechanic or System knowledge / experience,
· Quality knowledge, and mindset,
· Inspection Skills, Ability to use basic measurement tools such as caliper, dial gauge…ERP System such as SAP
