Airbus Helicopters is looking for a Spares Finance Controller (f/m) to join our Finance Department based in Les Florides and Marignane, France.

You are interested to join a dynamic team, be one of the business partners of Support & Services activities and be part of the Controlling organization: a vacancy for Spares activities has arisen.

You will be responsible for Spares Part controlling (around 800M€ revenues & 400M€ Ebit) and S&S transversal logistic organisation (plateform, transport...).

As such, you will be One of the Finance interfaces to the relevant S&S operational stakeholders to ensure the convergence and adherence to financial objectives.

As a financial controller you will be a co-pilot for the financial performance of the organization by planning and challenging, analyzing and giving advice to the organization. You will be supporting the execution and ensuring the data quality and be responsible for the communication for your local business partner. You will ensure compliance and enforce finance processes and raise finance awareness within the business.

You will be a member of a complete team of around 10 people.

Your challenges:

You will perform complete set of finance activities: Starting by OP, FC, Monthly closure and gap analysis but also Business cases, participation to audit process...
Being on both side of controlling (Program & Function), you will be in charge of all Financial aspects (TO, GM but also cash in, receivables, stock and finally the Free Cash Flow of your activity).
To perform your mission, you will be part of a team composed by 2 people and work in close cooperation with the performance & the management team of ESM.

In charge of French entity figures, you will be in contact with all the finance departments (accounting, others controlling areas). You may as well be in contact with subsidiaries' finance team around the world.

This job is one of the most complete , being a key actor as Finance business partner in les Florides.

 

Plan & challenge *

- Understand the business operational environment (strategy, governance, challenges, and constraints).

- Lead the preparation of the financial planning, prepare accurate forecasts, maintain multi-years financial targets.

- Develop and run financial models, simulations, scenarios, business cases to support decision making and provide a comprehensive view on the financial implications of business decisions.

Analyze & advise

- Produce accurate financial reporting, at the appropriate level of granularity.

- Assess the actual financial performance, analyze deviations and advise on corrective actions.

- Anticipate financial risks and opps of business strategy, 

Communicate

- Prepare and present financial performance to management by providing concrete analyses to support decision-making and appropriate actions to ensure financial & operational success 

- Active, transparent communication adapted to all hierarchical levels and personalities

ENSURE COMPLIANCE AND ENFORCE FINANCE PROCESSES

- Define appropriate cost accounting structure (cost centers, project codes…) matching business and finance requirements.

- Help the business navigate through and adhere to finance processes with strict adherence of Business to finance compliance requirements.

RAISE FINANCE AWARENESS IN THE BUSINESS

- Define and share a set of referential (targets, actuals, pro-format, finance roadmap).

- Explain and raise Business awareness on finance matters (key notions, company financials, technical considerations, e.g. tax, capitalization...)

- Challenge the status quo and drive change to improve and simplify the processes and financial results for which you are responsible.

 

Your profile:

· 
Graduate from a master degree in finance

· 
2 to3 years of solid experience in a controlling position.

· 
Stick to commitments on time & quality

· 
Good accounting skills

· 
Autonomy and ability to challenge stakeholder, service mindedness

· 
Eager to learn, dynamic & result-oriented

· 
Strong business partnering skills

· 
Good communication skills (ability to make finance important to non-finance people and to make complex issues understandable)

· 
A desire to work in a dynamic team and in an international environment,

· 
Fluent in English and French; German as a plus
