Description of the job

A vacancy for a DataCenter Developer (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Toulouse.

I4D Datacenter is a home-product of Airbus DS (CIS-INT) designed to produce, reference and disseminate geo-referenced data of various types
(geographic, meteo, etc.). It is deployed in either national instances or exported on distant systems. It is actively maintained and fosters significant
developments. In this context, CIS-INT is recruiting a developer.

The jobholder is in charge of participating to the development of the I4D DataCenter features, lead technical decisions for its actual and future components and brings his expertise on big project deployment. He mainly provides expertise to support its teammates and to follow feature implementation from design to deployment.

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

Tasks & accountabilities

Main tasks and activities :
- Contribute to the development of I4D DataCenter
- Participating to the development of the actual and future features
- Analyzing problems, proposing and implementation of solutions for I4D DataCenter Components
- Constructing application with an Architect providing technical analysis
- Interacting with teammates, project managers, IT supports
- Lead development team in application implementation

This role will involve occasional travel for business in and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:
- Educated to a Master's degree in software engineering or information management
- Good experiment of big project deployment mainly in .Net
- Expert reference in .Net and good knowledge of its frameworks
- I4D Solution in Geosocle project for instance
- Experience in continuous integration, test implementation and agile development
- Knowledge in ElasticSearch, PostgreSql, PowerShell
- Some knowledge in Java and/or MapCache
- Synthetic, rigorous and consistent,
- Proactive and good communication skills
- Team player
- Advanced level of English
