Description of the job
A vacancy for a Data Analyst has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Stade at the earliest possible start date. You will join the Team of Manufacturing Digitalisation.
As Data Analyst within our Digital Transformation Team this exciting job opportunity offers to shape the future of Stade plant for digital transformation – where we produce the vertical tail planes for all Airbus aircrafts and large scale components.
You will help us to quickly understand if innovation ideas are feasible and what impacts they could potentially have. Further you will support the local DDMS (Digital Design, Manufacturing & Services) stream in case of data analytics and data modelling topics. DDMS is the transformation project that will allow us to rethink the way we design, manufacture and operate our products, keeping in mind the industrial system and services ambitions from the start.

Tasks & accountabilities
What will you do?
- End to end project management for Data Analytics - Definition of use cases to implementation
- Based on data modelling provided by IT, with a focus on business needs, extract and integrate both structured and unstructured data from various databases/data-stores
- Develop, test and implement the most suitable analytical models to identify meaningful patterns or trends from complex data sets and types
- Implement the analytics pipeline against the business needs
- Analyse and improve regularly the accuracy of models against business needs
- Communicate findings through effective and easy-to-understand data visualisations adapted to the audience
- Coach the relevant department in the data-driven mind-set - actively contribute and share best practices, findings, and techniques with the wider data community
- Group data from different sources and visualise them in order to reduce reporting efforts

This role will involve some travel for business (once a month) within Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills
What are we looking for?
- You have achieved a Bachelor degree in IT studies or a similar topic or a related discipline
- You have solid experience with Python, ideally Palantir Tools and other relevant analytic tools
- From former jobs you bring solid experience in Data Analytics in production or other business areas
- You have also relevant experience in the field of operations and related data sources
- Additionally you have proven knowledge and experience in leading projects and project management - A certification would be an advantage
- Personally you are a skilled and effective communicator with a high degree of stakeholder management experience and you have the ability to manage change in a good manner
- Your language skills: negotiation level of English and advanced level of German
