Description of the job

For Airbus CyberSecurity, within the CyberSecurity Solutions Centre based in Élancourt, a position has become available for Airbus Cybersecurity France/Bids & Programmes.

It consists in managing bids and projects executed in France for the benefit of customers in Middle East. Airbus Cybersecurity's projects include system integration and services delivery in all domains related to cybersecurity.

This position will require security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognised authorities.

Tasks & accountabilities

For their project management activities, Cybersecurity Bid and Project Managers are in charge of:

·  Initiating the projects lifecycle: scope definition, project team building, schedule and cost baseline, risks analysis...
·  Building and managing the team assigned to the projects.
·  Monitoring their projects and reporting on their progress/status.
·  Being accountable for costs, quality, on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
·  Being accountable for delivering the planned revenue and margin.
·  Building and delivering offers for enhancement of existing projects while leveraging experience gathered through previous achievements.

Cybersecurity Bid and Project Managers also manage the bid process to handle new opportunities and deliver competitive offers, in collaboration with Sales Managers:

·  Formalizing the scope of the offer.
·  Identifying the customer hot buttons, assessing differentiators and position against competition.
·  Consolidating and challenging cost estimates and ensuring the consistency with the target price.
·  Assessing the strategic value and business plan of the opportunity.
·  Contributing to define the lobbying plan.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company's success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Required skills

The successful applicant should have the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to a 5-year degree level (or equivalent) in Cyber Security or a related discipline.
·  At least 5 years' experience in a similar position with strong background with Defence clients and stakeholders.
·  Strong knowledge of bid and project management activities : Scope definition & project initiation, Customer & Contract Management, Partners & Subcontractors Management, Risk & Opportunity Management, Organisation & Resources Management.
·  You are curious, committed and involved. As part of a team, you favour transparency and listen to your team members.
·  Language skills: Negotiation level of English.
