Job Description:
Responsible for all continuous airworthiness management of MRO related aircraft as well as external CAMO contract and/or customers.
Main Purpose:
·
Oversee and maintain an efficient aircraft maintenance planning system.
·
Provide management with an efficient fleet monitoring and reporting tool
·
Manage all maintenance planning staff
·
Ensure accurate data loading and system updates
·
Effective management of customer contracts
WORKPACKS:
·
Responsible for Quality of work packs produced.
·
Ensure that if during the check, additional tasks/requirements are requested, the requirements are integrated into the check (i.e work pack, CS orders etc).
·
Dissemination of applicable and appropriate data to crew chiefs.
·
Responsible for closing CS orders and notifications onto SAP.
·
Update of all work pack related documentations annually.
·
Ensure the safekeeping and archiving of the workpack.
·
Responsible for the update of log book copies (Papier and online).
CAMO:
·
Responsible for KPI and visual management of the fleet services at daily/weekly intervals.
·
Management of creating aircraft overview forecast reports at regular intervals including AD/SB status.
·
Ensures for the upkeep of the tracking system.
·
Daily update of SB/AD and distribution within AZA.
·
Update of MSM/ALS on Envision system.
·
Ensure customers' data update report is processed in time.
·
Responsible for the safekeeping of aircraft log books.
·
Ensure smooth interaction with authorities related to successful new and renewal airworthiness activities.
·
Ensure accurate tracking of loaner units. (Blue log cards).
·
Responsible for managing and promoting CAMO contracts.
SAP: General Admin
·
Responsible for the OP budget for the department.
·
Ensure that any required upgrade to system and tools are budgeted for.
·
Monitor While the aircraft is in check, ensure continuous follow up on outstanding material on CS.
·
Ensure consistent improvement of system and tools within the department.
·
Ensures for Update AH Group Dashboard.
·
OTD of new aircraft
·
Warranty activations and monitoring
·
Aircraft MRO Dashboard
·
Have extensive knowledge of the following systems and programs, Including knowledge transfer including training.
·
Envision
·
Spreadsheets (Google or Excel)
·
Keycopter/ AirbusWorld
·
Aircraft technical data and online system. ( AZA capability listing)
·
Regulatory knowledge ( Standard airworthiness practice) (SACAA; NCAA; exp)
TEAM MANAGEMENT:
·
Responsible for splitting aircraft responsibilities amongst planning staff including.
·
Staff appraisal and team dynamic management.
·
Hiring, disciplinary.
·
He/she is responsible to set the objectives and perform yearly reviews with a strong emphasis on skill development and continuous improvement.
·
The CAMO Manager is responsible for the efficient inter-departmental communication with the responsibility to set and upkeep a Visual Management system for the work done in CAMO.
·

Technical Publications:
·
The Planning and Deliveries Manager is also responsible for the technical publications upkeep.
·
Update of SB/AD system.
·
Upkeep of monitoring of “Offline” Capabilities. (Technical Publications)
·
Update of flight manuals for new aircraft.
