We use demonstrators as the principal means of evaluating, maturing and validating new radical technological breakthroughs. We not only integrate and test the technology but help shape the foundations for infrastructure and flight regulations, enabling Airbus in its aim for a better-connected, safer and more prosperous world.
Our eXtra Performance Wing demonstrator using a Cessna Citation VII business jet platform, will test wing aerodynamics and performance to reduce future aircraft CO₂ emissions. Next step? The integration of some very special wings inspired by nature!
As an intern, you will be working with the flight control system team to perform functional verification of flight control system software that will be integrated in the flight control computer (FCC).
This internship is a unique opportunity to work closely with ATA 27 software developers in order to verify their implementation and suggest improvements and fixes.
Your mission:
· Defining/improving custom flight control system software verification process
· Performing functional verification (test scenarios definition, simulation on Airbus tools, analysis and bug reporting)
· Documentation and traceability for permit to fly dossier
Duration : 6 months
Starting date : January 2025 ideally , March 2025 latest

· Preliminary systems and V&V processes knowledge
· Simulation and software integration
· Matlab/Simulink proficiency
· English, intermediary level mandatory
