CRYOPROP demo is looking for a DC Distribution Fault Protection intern. This internship will ideally begin in February 2025 (date subject to flexibility), and will last for a period of 4 to 6 months.
Your Missions
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

Design study of a resistive Superconducting Fault Current Limiter (RSFCL) for an operation in a electrical aircraft
·
Electrical and Thermal simulations of different RSFCL designs operating in helium environment
·
Prototyping a compact RSFCL
·
Characterize the RSFCL prototype and compare to conventional protection technologies
