Adecco are currently recruiting for a Voids Officer to work for a Local Authority in Croydon. This is a temporary role for 3 months paying £13.72 per hour and is 36 hours per week (9am-5pm).

Duties

·  Progressing voids

·  Chasing partners and colleagues

·  Updating Ohms and a spreadsheet.

·  Gathering the background information of complaints in order for the team leader to respond.

·  Making appointments for specialist works or void inspectors

Essential Experience

·  Preferable experience of working within housing/repairs.

·  Able to use spreadsheets

·  Able to use SharePoint

·  Experience of using a repairs reporting programme

·  Ability to interrogate our records in order that I can agree payments

·  Ability to liaise between contractors, inspectors and colleagues from other teams.

This role requires a lot of record keeping as every stage of the void repairs process is logged on a spreadsheet and Ohms. Progress chasing, again involves updating Ohms and checking both the void teams and our partners spreadsheet therefore being comfortable with using Excel is essential and the ability to learn bespoke systems quickly is essential.
