Job description
We are currently recruiting for a temporary Production Operator position within the manufacturing industry. Our client, a large electrical manufacturing organisation based in Plymouth, is seeking candidates to join their team.
As a Production Operator, you will work 39 hours per week on a standard shift basis. The working hours are Monday to Thursday, from 07:00am to 16:00pm, and Friday from 07:00am to 11:50am. The hourly rate for this role is £12.55.
In this role, you will be responsible for working on production lines, assembling products. Your main duty will be to support in ensuring production targets are met in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for identifying and reporting any health, safety, and environmental issues within the workplace. Additionally, you will be required to fit electrical components and use handheld tools.
No previous experience is essential, although experience in production or manufacturing would be advantageous.
