- Hourly rate From: £27.44 PAYE
- Hourly rate To: £35.40 Umbrella
ABOUT OUR CLIENT:
Our client is a London Borough Council and have a vacancy in the housing and regeneration department. With a strong focus on procurement and contracts, they are seeking a dedicated Procurement Business Partner to join their team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Provide procurement advice and support to procurement projects within the Housing Management Department.
· Collaborate with business managers and project teams to improve procurement and contract management within the department.
· Ensure compliance with legislative requirements and achieve corporate objectives and value for money.
· Support the delivery of the Housing Management procurement plan.
· Manage procurement processes, including council governance implementation and adherence to policies and procedures.
· Prepare procurement and contract-related reports.
· Challenge specifications and contract management arrangements to ensure contracts are fit for purpose.
· Assist with the mobilisation and rollout of new contracts, providing training on new processes.
ESSENTIAL (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE):
· Knowledge and understanding of public sector procurement processes, including regulatory frameworks.
· Experience working in procurement within a public sector housing environment.
· CIPS qualification or equivalent experience.
DESIRABLE (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE):
· Knowledge of contract management.
· Knowledge of leaseholder consultation requirements.
TECHNOLOGIES:
· Proficiency in using procurement tools and templates.
