Multi Skilled Maintenance

Fixed Term Contract

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Vauxhall Motors Manufacturing Plant (Stellantis) in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. Located just off junction 6/7 of the M53, Vauxhall Motors is a well-established car manufacturer in the area.

We are currently looking to recruit Multi Skilled Maintenance to work at the Ellesmere Port Manufacturing Site.

The positions will be for a minimum of 9 months fixed term contract.

The role will be on 3 shift rotational pattern, 37.5 hrs per week with the opportunity for overtime.

The main responsibilities and role requirements are as follows:

·  Reactive maintenance to resolve breakdowns.

·  Performing planned maintenance tasks.

·  Support the production teams during production runs.

·  Systematic problem solving for repetitive issues/faults.

·  CIP - apply continuous improvement process.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:

·  Time Served Apprenticeship - Multiskilled (Electrical and Mechanical) - Minimum Qualification ONC/HNC

·  Knowledge of Siemens S7 PLC and devices advantageous

·  Fanuc Robot, Programming & set-up advantageous

·  Understanding of Hydraulic & Pneumatic circuits advantageous

·  Sound interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team

·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·  A high level of self-motivation and tenacity
