Job description
Job Title: Workshop and Installation Engineer
Location: Hull Workshop and Customer sites
Remuneration: Competitive salary + generous expenses and allowances
Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time
Responsibilities:
· Carry out maintenance and servicing on a broad range of equipment, including fault finding, diagnosis, and repair
· Perform mechanical installations and read electrical drawings
· Strive for a first-time fix and maintain high engineering standards
· Conduct site surveys and installation checks
· Provide excellent customer service and comply with on-site procedures
· Complete all necessary documentation as required
· Ensure all tools, PPE, and equipment are in good working order
· Conduct both Reactive and PPM maintenance
· Willingness to work away and overseas as needed
· Ensure restocking and maintenance of service boxes
· Contribute to the review of existing processes and suggest improvements
Key Performance Indicators:
· Projects completed on time
· Excellent working relationships across the organisation
· Timely completion and submission of all relevant test sheets and paperwork
· Proactive participation in process improvement
· Reduced recalls/return visits and complaints
· Excellent fault-finding skills and efficient equipment repairs
