Job description
Are you passionate about fundraising and making a difference in the lives of others? Our client, a leading hospice in Hackney, is seeking a Legacy & In Memory Fundraiser to join their dynamic and dedicated team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage and grow their legacy fundraising and in-memory giving programmes, ensuring exceptional stewardship to supporters and building long-term engagement.
Start ASAP, this is a permanent role, salary £31k-£39k depending on experience, hours Monday-Friday 35.5 hours per week or would consider part time/flexible hours per week also this is a hybrid working role. Location of the hospice is Hackney. Due to the nature of the client you are required to go through a DBS clearance before starting.
Key Responsibilities:
Legacy Fundraising:
· Develop and implement the legacy fundraising strategy, raising awareness of gifts in Wills and increasing the number of people who remember our client in their Will.
· Review, develop, and manage the creation of legacy fundraising materials.
· Identify and build relationships with potential free Will writing partners.
· Devise and manage rolling legacy communications through various platforms.
· Promote Gifts in Wills throughout the hospice and in hospice events.
· Develop donor journeys for legacy interactions, providing tailored follow-up and engagement.
In-Memory Giving:
· Be the first point of contact for all in-memory giving enquiries.
· Manage the creation of all in-memory fundraising materials and resources.
· Develop and manage in-memory giving donor journeys.
· Research and develop new in-memory events and products.
· Build relationships with funeral directors to support in memory giving and funeral collections.
· Create engaging content related to in-memory giving for newsletters, websites, and social media.
