Band 4 HR People Services Manager - Fixed Term Appointment for 12 Months

Location: Bootle

Pay Band: Band 4

Salary/Benefits: £36,673 - £42,911 with a Civil Service Pension with an average employer contribution of 27%

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and qualified HR professional to join their team as a Band 4 HR People Services Manager. As part of the HR Directorate, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of a wide range of activities as part of the People Strategy and HR Directorate Plan.

Responsibilities include:

·  Providing robust and accurate management information and data analysis to internal and external stakeholders

·  Monitoring HR progress against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and conducting governance checks against HR policies

·  Gathering benchmarking data/research to support people projects

·  Supporting staff and managers with HR policies and procedures

·  Ensuring compliance with GDPR requirements in relation to HR processes and data retention

·  Developing and maintaining HR records aligned with record management arrangements

Requirements:

·  Proven ability to articulate key messages to a wide range of audiences

·  Experience in improving systems and simplifying processes

·  Ability to prioritise workload and meet key deadlines

·  Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Excel

·  CIPD (level 3 or above) qualification preferred
