Job Title: HGV Driver - Waste / Recycling Industry
Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: £16.45 - £19.01
Driving Required: Yes
Working Pattern: Full Time
Are you a skilled and experienced HGV Driver looking for an exciting opportunity in the Waste / Recycling industry? Our client, a leading organisation in the sector, is seeking a dedicated HGV Driver to join their team.
Responsibilities:
· Operate Heavy Goods Refuse Collection Vehicles for recycling and waste collection and disposal
· Lead and direct a team of loaders to deliver exceptional recycling and waste services
· Ensure a professional, high-quality service is provided to residents and customers
· Adapt to changing demands and strive to exceed industry standards
· Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
· Complete relevant daily checks, record information accurately, and report any issues to the line manager
· Provide assistance and information to residents and customers regarding waste disposal
· Comply with all legislation, policies, and procedures relevant to the work activity
Requirements:
· Valid Category C driving licence, valid Digi tachograph card
· Good communication and interpersonal skills
· Ability to work as part of a team and build relationships
· Self-motivated and able to represent the organisation professionally
· Strong commitment to customer care and equalities and diversity policies
