Are you an organised and dynamic individual looking for an exciting opportunity as an Executive Assistant? Our client, a leading organisation in the police industry, is seeking a talented professional to join their team on a temporary basis. As the Executive Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing essential administrative and business support to a dedicated member of the Force Executive.
What will you be responsible for?
Managing the daily activities and delivering on the Executive's portfolio commitments and responsibilities.
Acting as a gateway to the Executive, enhancing strategies, and contributing to business plans.
Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of regional and national responsibilities.
Independent decision-making regarding the Executive's portfolio responsibilities.
Maintaining the reputation of the organisation and mitigating corporate risks.
Coordinating project activities and managing bespoke Force level portfolios.
Prioritising information and filtering it accordingly.
Planning, organising, and managing meetings, conferences, and portfolio-led sessions.
Creating clear and concise briefings and correspondence.
What do you need to succeed in this role?
Excellent planning and organisational skills to prioritise a high-volume workload.
Ability to adapt to changing situations and rearrange work schedules when needed.
Previous experience assisting at senior management level, with strong communication and customer care skills.
Proficiency in drafting grammatically correct and concise English, with attention to detail.
IT literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications.
Demonstrable ability to gather information and present it effectively.
Strong note-taking and minute-writing skills.
