Full time role will require some evening work as well if meeting go over time and some meetings will be in the evening so looking for someone who is happy to work extended hours. so this may go out of standard 36 hours you will be paid but this will be your standard rate there is no Overtime rate on this role.
· 1==Experience of taking minutes or notes of lectures, meetings or seminars, etc. and writing formally published summarised reports.
� 2==Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and orally, in order to deal with correspondence, liaise with officers and members, provide advice at meetings, etc (TO BE TESTED).
� 3==Ability to attend planned meetings both inside and outside normal office hours (approximately 3 or 4 meetings a month) to take minutes and provide guidance where necessary.
� 4==Ability to organise work allocated taking account of deadlines, e.g., statutory requirements for despatch of agenda;
� 5==Ability to carry out all duties with regard to and promoting council policies such as equalities and diversity and health and safety.
� 6==Ability to assist other members of the democratic services team as necessary.
� 7==Ability to act in an objective and politically neutral manner in carrying out the duties of the post;
· 8==Proven strong administrative experience in an office environment
� 9==Intermediate Word and Excel
� 10==Ability to work flexibly and in innovative ways, including taking part in projects
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION (S):
� English GCSE or equivalent (grade c or above)
� Degree or relevant apprenticeship preferred
