Job Description
As a Valet Parking Attendant, you will set the stage for the guest experience with your welcoming smile and service.
· Warmly greet all arriving guests at the Valet Entrance while providing courteous, efficient, and enthusiastic valet parking services or directions to public parking.
· Assisting in regulating the movement and flow of vehicles to avoid traffic congestion inclusive of parking and retrieving vehicles.
· Maintains strict controls and inventory of vehicles and keys including registering in O-Valet and completing 360 walk documenting vehicle condition.
· Provide the removal of items from stored vehicles if required, and other miscellaneous services requested by the guest or Guest Services Leader in a timely manner
· Resolve guest problems within the scope of authority, otherwise refer to the supervisor on duty.
· When requested or anticipated, provide guests with information and answers to questions about Hotel facilities, meeting functions, dining facilities, local transportation alternatives, and tourist attractions.
· Strict adherence to Fairmont Service Standard Expectations as it relates to Valet Parking
Qualifications
· G Class Ontario Driver’s License (or equivalent) with no infractions is a requirement.
· Ability to operate all types of vehicles (Manual & Automatic) is a requirement.
· Must be available for weekend shifts (Saturday AND Sunday) as well as one other evening during the week.
· A service focused personality with good command of the English language.
