Job Description

We are currently seeking an organised and enthusiastic Talent & Culture Coordinator to support the HR function for four Accor hotels across Tasmania and Victoria.  For the right candidate, hours and location will be considered.  This is a part time role, up to 24 hours a week, however, we are open to full-time hours for the right candidate.

This is a unique opportunity to join a passionate and collaborative Talent & Culture team and grow your skills and knowledge in the field of Human Resources.  

ALL about the role – what you’ll be doing:

·  Support Department Heads in recruitment and assist in the recruitment process by posting job ads, screening resumes and coordinating interviews
·  Prepare and manage employee contracts and ensure all necessary documentation is completed
·  Act as a trusted point of contact for all employees, addressing concerns and fostering a positive work environment
·  Support the team in handling employee relations issue
·  Support with the organisation of employee engagement activities
·  Administer the Accor online training platform and maintain accurate records
·  Assist in the coordination of the ongoing implementation and management of the staff performance review program
·  Assist in the constant improvement of HR procedures and management

Qualifications

·  Flexibility in workings hours, to be able to work with team members on various shifts
·  Creative flair and enthusiasm for driving employee engagement initiatives
·  Confidence to work autonomously and able to collaborate with the Talent & Culture team remotely
·  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
·  Basic understanding of the Hospitality Industry General Award (HIGA)
·  A passion for people and creating a positive workplace culture
·  The confidence to engage with senior stakeholders in the business
·  Whilst not essential, you will ideally have a background or qualification in HR and/or experience in the hotel industry
