Job Description

Tailor

The Tailor will be responsible for making, altering, and repairing garments according to team member specifications. A keen eye for detail, strong sewing skills, and the ability to work with a variety of fabrics and styles.

·  Do accurate measurements to ensure proper fit.
·  Sew garments using needles and thread or sewing machines.
·  Alter and repair garments, including shortening or lengthening sleeves, taking in or letting out seams, and replacing zippers.
·  Work with various fabrics such as cotton, wool, silk, and synthetic fibers.
·  Maintain a clean and organized work area.
·  Handle administrative tasks, such as taking orders, managing schedules, and keeping records of alterations.
·  Assist with other duties assigned.

Qualifications

·  Proven experience as a tailor or similar role.
·  Proficiency in using sewing machines and hand sewing techniques.
·  Knowledge of different types of fabrics and garment construction.
·  Excellent attention to detail and precision.
·  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
·  Good time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
