You start every working day together with national and international colleagues in our beautiful 4-star hotel located in The Hague. You will work in a hotel with 72 rooms, a restaurant, coffee & wine lounge and 3 meeting rooms.  

Job Description

You have experience within Sales and Reservations department, a passion for the hotel industry and you are results oriented. As Sales & Reservations coordinator you will have the freedom to make your own mark and have full ownership. Our renowned hotel, located in the heart of The Hague, is known for its luxurious accommodation, excellent service, and welcoming atmosphere. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our hotel, while providing an unforgettable experience to our guests. Be limitless
Maintaining corporate / leisure individuals and groups, and MICE segments within Mövenpick Hotel The Hague. That is what you take care of! You do this by helping the Sales Manager. Everything to give the customer the best possible image of Mövenpick and to ensure more bookings by customers. There are no limits to your abilities.  In addition, you will be:

·  focused on achieving your revenue targets by maintaining and expanding sales;
·  busy with the completion of annual contracts;
·  keeping track of your sales activities in the CRM system;
·  responsible for all back-office activities.

You are responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase revenue and occupancy together with our Sales Manager. You have a crucial role in further expanding our commercial successes and maintaining the high-quality standards that Mövenpick Hotel The Hague stands for. You have a bubbly personality with enthusiasm and drive. You don't just talk about action; you also dare to take the necessary steps. You enjoy working within a team and take ownership, using your persuasive skills to inspire others with your enthusiasm. You're not afraid to move forward, take responsibility, and have a natural talent for networking. Market research and analytical thinking? That's a plus, because we appreciate people who not only see opportunities but also know how to seize them.  You must have:

·  minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sales & reservations coordinator;
·  fluent written and spoken knowledge of the English and Dutch language;
·  proven track record in achieving sales goals excellent communication and negotiation skills;
·  knowledge of the local market (The Hague);
·  good skils regarding stress resistance and you are result oriented;
·  an HBO/WO degree in hotel management or a relevant field.

We offer

·  a monthly gross salary of between €2.298 and €2.858 in accordance with scale 5 of the Collective Labour Agreement for the Dutch hospitality and catering industry;
·  a contract of 38 hours per week;
·  25 leave days and time off for any overtime; 
·  extra day off during your birthday month;
·  a travel allowance up to €200 per month, on the basis of the actual number of kilometres;
·  a night-shift allowance of 10%;
·  pension contributions with the Horeca & Catering pension fund;
