Job Description
To provide consistent housekeeping services to guest rooms, balconies, bathrooms, restaurants, public areas, and corridors, ensuring the hotel’s standards of cleanliness and presentation are met at all times.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
· Clean and maintain assigned areas according to established standards and procedures
· Replenish guest supplies and amenities
· Ensure guest requests are handled promptly and courteously
· Report any damage or malfunction in hotel rooms or public areas to the Supervisor
· Maintain equipment in a clean and proper working condition
· Complete section room reports and daily productivity reports accurately
· Attend daily briefings with the Supervisor and carry out assigned tasks
· Report lost and found items to the Housekeeping Office immediately
· Handle guest complaints professionally and report them to the Supervisor
· Report any unusual behavior or activities in guestrooms, floors, or public areas
· Accurately update and record room status in the assigned section
· Comply with the hotel’s health, safety, and hygiene policies
· Adhere to grooming and personal hygiene standards
· Attend meetings and training sessions as required
· Perform valet services when required (e.g., delivery of linen, processing laundry orders)
· Demonstrate a clear understanding of guest levels (including VIPs) and room categories
· Strictly follow all Lost & Found procedures
· Ensure proper compliance with Housekeeping SOPs
· Comply with fire evacuation procedures and first aid training requirements
· Adhere to Raffles Hotels & Resorts grooming standards
· Attend required training sessions and maintain professional conduct at all times
Qualifications
· Secondary education completed
· Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position within a luxury hotel environment
· Strong organizational skills
· High level of guest engagement and customer service skills
· Good knowledge of housekeeping operations
