Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Reservation Executive to join our team in Chennai, India. As a Reservation Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing room reservations, maximizing revenue, and ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction.

·  Plan and coordinate room reservations to optimize occupancy and revenue
·  Implement effective selling techniques and strategies to maximize room sales
·  Prepare accurate forecasts, reports, and statistics on a timely basis
·  Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently
·  Maintain and update the corporate database with guest information and booking details
·  Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
·  Train and supervise reservation associates, delegating tasks as needed
·  Ensure adherence to company policies regarding discounts and corporate rates
·  Monitor and analyze market trends to adjust reservation strategies
·  Assist in developing occupancy forecasts for annual budgets
·  Handle VIP reservations and special requests with utmost care and attention

Qualifications

·  Diploma in Tourism or Hospitality Management
·  Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
·  Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
·  Strong knowledge of reservation systems and hotel management software
·  Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
·  Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
·  Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
·  Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
·  Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
·  Knowledge of additional languages is a plus
