Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

·  Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, quality, and condition.
·  Verify that deliveries match purchase orders and packing slips.
·  Report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues to the relevant department or vendor.
·  Accurately document all received goods in the inventory management system.
·  Maintain detailed records of deliveries, including date, time, and item specifics.
·  File and manage paperwork associated with receipts and returns.
·  Assist in organizing and storing received items in designated areas.
·  Conduct periodic inventory checks and reconcile physical stock with system records.
·  Ensure proper labeling and tracking of all goods.
·  Communicate with vendors to resolve issues related to deliveries or discrepancies.
·  Collaborate with various hotel departments to ensure timely distribution of supplies.
·  Work closely with the Inventory Manager to report and address inventory needs.
·  Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation regulations in handling and storing items.
·  Follow hotel policies and procedures for receiving and inventory management.
·  Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
