Job Description
Reliable and engaging. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will demonstrate the essence of creating an exceptional guest journey. You are committed to taking care of the guests from the moment they arrive through to their departure.
· Lead and supervise the day-to-day operation of the department to ensure service standards are followed with friendly and engaging service
· Provide on-the-spot coaching and counseling as needed to ensure all standards of cleanliness are being upheld
· Handle guest concerns and react quickly, tracking and notifying proper areas to guarantee memorable moments for our guests
· Ensure colleagues are informed daily about priorities to personalize service
· Actively participate in daily briefing, daily warm up and department meetings
· Report necessary maintenance items
· Serve as back up and support to Room Attendants, House persons and other Housekeeping roles when needed
· Training of new housekeeping employees
· Perform inspections of cleaned and vacant rooms to ensure high quality standards are met.
Qualifications
· Minimum 1 year experience in a supervisory/leadership capacity.
· Experience in a Housekeeping environment an asset
· Service focused personality is essential
· Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities and the ability to lead by example
· Excellent communication and organizational skills
· Bilingual (English & Spanish) and asset
