Job Description

·  Assisting with Accounts Payable & Accounts receivable, debt collection, and follow-ups as needed
·  Helping manage daily cash receipts, including reconciling cash, cheques, and foreign currency transactions
·  Supporting the month-end closing process by preparing account reconciliations and assisting with journal entries
·  Maintaining accurate records of cash floats and assisting with monthly cash audits
·  Providing general support to the Finance team with ad hoc tasks and compliance requirements

Qualifications

·  Previous experience in Finance Administration or related position, preferably in the Hospitality industry
·  Experience with Opera and SUN Systems viewed favourably
·  Understanding and basic knowledge of financial and accounting procedures, policies, and systems
·  Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
·  Ability to work independently or with a team and demonstrate initiative in a dynamic environment
·  Time management skills with the ability to multitask
·  Service-oriented with a meticulous eye for detail
·  You must have unlimited work rights in Australia
