Job Description
· Reports to Director of Engineering
· Represents hotel in mechanical & technical issues where necessary
· Handles and manages assigned tasks
· Prepares investment and development plans and budget for HVAC, Plumbing, Water Treatment, BMS, Refrigeration and other mechanical equipment.
· Provide technical support and coordination for energy-related issues in sustainability projects,
· Coordinate, monitor, and report on energy efficiency studies and related action projects and standards such as ISO 50001, GSTC etc.
· Conducts further analysis about KPIs in engineering department
· Manages secure / master card system at the hotel
· Responsible of maintaining entire hotel facility
· Supervisors each of his/her team members with regards to their maintaining job safety requirements
· Responsible of reporting any potential issue with regards to tools and machinery used at the hotel premises in writing to hotel management
· Responsible of regular maintenance and repair of hotel equipment, focusing on saving actions
· Follows up legal updates about her/his work field
· Points out any issue related to occupational health and safety
· Conducts other duties assigned by hotel management
Qualifications
· Minimum 3 years leadership experience in engineering
· Fluency in English
· Good knowledge and active user of AutoCad, Ms Office Applications
· Having an energy auditor license
· Bachelor's degree in reputable universities
· Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
· Highly responsible & reliable
· Leads his/ her team to achieve goals.
· Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
· Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
· Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all
Additional Information
Prior experience working with Opera or a related system
Fluency in English and Chinese (additional languages are a plus)
