Qantas Lounges and Sofitel Hotels & Resorts, the Luxury International brand for Accor Hotels, offers Lounge guests a new attitude for cosmopolitan business and leisure travelers visiting the Qantas Domestic Lounges. The team consists of over 150 employees working in across three lounges. Our busy Lounge operation caters for Qantas's most valuable passengers every week.

Qantas Lounges by Accor provides a relaxing start to a holiday, an efficient workspace between flights, and a welcoming pause on the way to anywhere. With a range of offerings from upscale to luxury, our Lounges receive rave reviews from both our customers and our team.

We are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join us in offering a new attitude for cosmopolitan business and leisure travellers visiting the Qantas International Lounges. Our roles are focused on exciting our guests with flair and enthusiasm whilst we demonstrate genuine passion for customer service.

Job Description

Essential duties of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

·  Ensure accuracy whilst ordering and delivering food and beverage orders.
·  Clear and reset tables and ensure service areas are clean and tidy.
·  Maintain hygiene standards for food handling and presentation in line with expected outcomes.
·  Explain the menu to guests, assisting those with special dietary needs or preferences and providing timely assistance when recommending beverages.
·  Prior experience in the food and beverage industry would be beneficial.
·  Promote a safe workplace by recognising hazards and promoting general WHS practices.

Qualifications

Whilst technical experience is of importance to us, to be considered for the role, you will have the following:

·  A friendly, customer-focused attitude with the strive to provide total customer satisfaction.
·  Initiative to ensure that interactions with our customers are positive, intuitive and efficient.
·  Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certification.
·  Previous customer service or hospitality experience.
·  Confidence in liaising with various internal and external clients.
·  A high standard of grooming and personal presentation.
·  The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts, including early mornings, late evenings and weekends.
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
·  Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask. 
·  A positive team player and guest-centric mindset.
·  MUST have full working rights within in Australia

Note: Successful applicants will be required to undergo a Federal Police check at their own cost (Will be reimbursed once approved) in order to gain ASIC certification
