Job Description

We are seeking a professional and decisive Lifeguard Supervisor to join our team at a premier beach resort in Phu Quoc, Vietnam. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the safety and well-being of guests and staff in our aquatic facilities, whilst leading a team of lifeguards.

·  Supervise and manage a team of lifeguards, ensuring optimal coverage and performance
·  Develop and implement safety protocols and emergency response procedures
·  Conduct regular training sessions and drills to maintain team readiness
·  Monitor water conditions and weather patterns to assess potential risks
·  Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of pool areas and beach facilities
·  Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary
·  Maintain accurate records of incidents, rescues, and daily operations
·  Liaise with resort management to ensure compliance with safety regulations
·  Educate guests on water safety and enforce rules in a courteous manner
·  Participate in the recruitment and training of new lifeguards

Qualifications

·  Advanced lifeguard certification and water safety instructor certification
·  Minimum of 3-5 years of lifeguarding experience, with previous supervisory experience preferred
·  Exceptional swimming abilities and physical fitness
·  Current first aid and CPR certification
·  Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to manage a diverse team
·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
·  Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to remain calm under pressure
·  Thorough knowledge of water safety regulations and procedures
·  Understanding of beach and pool management practices
·  Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
·  Proficiency in English; knowledge of Vietnamese or other languages is advantageous
