Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and passionate AV Technician to join our Audio-Visual team at Rixos Phú Quốc Vietnam . In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio-visual equipment, ensuring flawless technical delivery for events, shows, and daily operations.

You will work closely with internal teams, performers, and event organizers to deliver exceptional guest experiences through high-quality sound, visuals, and lighting.

Key Responsibilities

·  Install, set up, test, and operate audio-visual equipment including projectors, microphones, sound systems, lighting, video monitors, cameras, and video conferencing systems
·  Operate AV systems during live events, shows, meetings, and presentations
·  Manage live audio mixing, video switching, and lighting control
·  Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure all equipment is in excellent working condition
·  Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently and professionally
·  Repair faulty equipment or coordinate external repairs when required
·  Support event organizers, presenters, performers, bands, and singers, including sound checks and stage setup in line with technical riders
·  Maintain accurate records of AV inventory, maintenance schedules, and repair logs
·  Document setup configurations, operating procedures, and troubleshooting solutions
·  Collaborate closely with event coordinators, IT teams, and other departments
·  Be fully aware of recreation facilities, evening programs, show concepts, and schedules
·  Ensure all AV areas and equipment are clean, safe, and well-organized

·  Adhere to Rixos Hotels & Resorts policies, operational standards, and ISO Integrated Management System requirements
·  Actively participate in quality improvement, risk management, health & safety, environmental protection, and energy-saving initiatives
·  Contribute to continuous improvement and guest satisfaction programs

Qualifications

Education & Experience

·  Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or Audio-Visual Technology
·  Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a similar AV role
·  Hospitality or event environment experience is an advantage

Skills & Competencies

·  Strong technical knowledge of professional AV systems
·  Good communication skills in English
·  Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude
·  Ability to work independently and under pressure during live events
·  Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
