The resort will host guests in 250 residential units, including 176 rooms and 74 villas, as well as a fine-dining restaurant, two specialty beach restaurants and a lounge bar. Among its many highlights will be an exclusive private beach. Other amenities are to include a central ballroom for events, meeting rooms, a fitness center, a spa, kids and teens clubs, and several swimming pools. All of this will be set amid green landscaping, golden beaches and a port.

· To Manage all the lifeguards for ensuring smooth day to day operations
· To be able to train and guide the staff and be upto date with Rixos policies and procedures
· To ensure all pool tests and cleaning are done prior to the pool opening.
· To ensure the pool is open on time and set up for the guest.
· To perform regular pool tests and report any abnormalities immediately to management.
· To ensure the pool is never left unattended.
· To work with the attendants and ensure the guest is happy and receiving 5-star service.
· To ensure the pool is closed properly and all the correct signage is around the pool.
· To be fully aware of current and future services offered by the hotel and to make suggestions for improvement, expansion or creation of new services.
· To remain up to date with local and international trends in the health and leisure services through Internet, magazines and other applicable media.
· To ensure high standards of cleanliness in the department inclusive of the upkeep of guest early check in and late check out facilities and changing rooms.
· To ensure consistency within the pool surrounds with regards to general health and safety of guests and staff members through the regular cleaning and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
· To ensure the upkeep of pool promotional material
· To always provide guest with an enjoyable, well informed and memorable experience
· To refer any guest complaints to the Management
· To provide a courteous, efficient and professional service all times.
· To assist in up selling Recreation services to the guests.
Qualifications
· Previous hospitality experience
· Excellent communication skills
· Strong customer service skills required.
· Degree in Hospitality - Tourism, safety certificate, basic First AID, Lifeguard certificate.
