Job Description
The Laundry Supervisor oversees daily laundry operations to ensure efficient workflow, high-quality standards, and compliance with health and safety regulations. This role involves supervising staff, maintaining equipment, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of clean linens, uniforms, or garments.

Supervise and coordinate daily laundry operations and staff schedules
·
Assign duties and monitor staff performance to ensure productivity and quality standards
·
Ensure proper washing, drying, ironing, and folding procedures are followed
·
Inspect finished laundry items for cleanliness, damage, and presentation
·
Train new employees on equipment use, safety procedures, and company policies
·
Monitor and maintain laundry equipment; report or arrange repairs as needed
·
Manage inventory of detergents, chemicals, linens, and supplies
·
Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and environmental regulations
·
Handle staff issues, provide feedback, and assist with performance evaluations
·
Coordinate with other departments to meet operational needs
Qualifications
· Previous experience in laundry operations or housekeeping, with supervisory experience preferred
·
Strong leadership and team management skills
·
Knowledge of laundry chemicals, fabrics, and equipment
·
Good communication and organizational skills
·
Basic record-keeping and reporting skills
