Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and innovative IT Specialist to join our dynamic team in the beautiful island of Phu Quoc, Vietnam. As a key member of our IT department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our organisation's technology infrastructure and providing exceptional support to our staff and clients.

·  Manage and maintain the organisation's computer systems, networks, and software applications
·  Provide technical support and troubleshoot IT issues for staff and clients in a timely manner
·  Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against cyber threats
·  Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement IT solutions that align with business objectives
·  Conduct regular system audits and performance analyses to ensure optimal functionality
·  Manage IT projects, including planning, execution, and documentation
·  Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions
·  Develop and maintain IT policies and procedures to ensure best practices are followed
·  Provide training and guidance to staff on IT systems and software applications
·  Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers
·  Assist in the development and management of the IT budget
·  Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and industry standards

Qualifications

·  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
·  Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar IT role, preferably in a corporate environment
·  Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and IT infrastructure
·  Proficiency in various operating systems, including Windows, Linux, and macOS
·  Experience with network security protocols and best practices
·  Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
·  Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically
·  Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
·  Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks effectively
·  Experience with IT service management and troubleshooting
·  Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
·  Adaptability to work in an island setting and embrace the local culture
·  Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required
·  Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or ITIL Foundation would be advantageous
·  Knowledge of Vietnamese language and culture would be a plus
